Doosan Turbine Generator BG has steady orders from GE according to a long-term sourcing agreement, and recognized by the world for being Korea's first supplier of D11 steam turbines.

Meeting the demand for high efficient/capacity power plants to supplement the draining of resources, limited land for power plants and environmental laws, Doosan, through a joint development effort with GE, has developed new designs and technologies for increasing the capacity and efficiency of turbines and generators and successfully supplied them to the 800MW Younghung Thermal Power Plant 1 & 2.
Credited for the successful development and supply of large turbine generators for the 800MW thermal power plant, Doosan is more than likely to undertake the Younghung 3 & 4 Project.

With the technological capacity to develop turbine generators for Ultra-Super Critical 1,000MW power plants and the experience of having supplied Korean-standard 1,000MW turbine generators, Doosan Turbine Generator BG was selected as the main contractor for the G7 project, which is to supply the turbines and generators for the next-generation 1,400MW light water nuclear power plant (APR1400) currently under development.
