Features
Boiler is used as a steam generator in power and industrial plants. It's usually consisted of main module and circulation system for steam generation, firing system for fuel combustion, draft system for ventilating combustion air and flue gas, air preheater and other auxiliary systems.
Based on its technology in design, manufacturing, installation and services, Doosan has been supplying various types of boilers, ranged from drum-type, once-through and fluid bed utility boilers with high pressure and high temperature to industrial boilers. Doosan has also been supplying boilers of various fossil fuels as coal, oil, etc.

| Steam Drum

Steam Drum separates the steam generated by boiler tubes, and its cylinder shell is attached with nozzles and other attachments. It has many internal parts that are used to separate water vapor. |
| Separator |
|
The panels make up all side of furnace and allow water to pass through the water wall. The panels absorb heat from furnace to evaporate water and to make steam, also block the flame between furnace and outside. |

| Header and Nozzle
|

Water and steam are heated through the Economizer, water wall, Superheater and Reheater. The headers gather water and steam , and redistribute them to the next stage equally. |
| Coil (Heater, Reheater, Economizer) |
|
- Heater: Transforms the vapor saturated by the drum into supersaturated vapor through heat exchanger.
- Reheater: Reheats the vapor generated by high-pressure turbines in a boiler before recycling the vapor to be used in low/medium pressure turbines.
- Economizer: Preheats the feedwater flowing into the water by using the convective heat of combustion gas emitted from boilers.

| Low NOx Burner
|

Low NOx Burner mixes, sprays and ignites the coal dust pulverized/dried in the pulverizer and the combustion gas heated in the preheater. |
| High Efficiency Coal Pulverizer |
|
Coal Pulverizer pulverizes and dries coal for higher combustion efficiency. The pulverizer is used by adjusting the temperature of hot air passing from the air preheater. |
| Duct
|
|
A pipe, tube, channel or any other unit necessary for conveying gases, combustion air from one point to another. |
| Structural Steel |
|
Steel Frame is used to support the load of boilers and other power generation systems. It`s designed to resist wind and earthquake loads. |
